I've read up more on the early symptoms of tetanus which
usually appears 3-10 days after the injury and some of the symptoms
are fever, spasm in the jaw that causes jaw lock, spasm in the throat that
makes aperson have difficulty swallowing, follwed by neck, shoulder,
face and the abdomen and limbs spasms.

OMG!! I really could not imagine myself having
spasms everywhere around my body.

AND..... It's been 11 days ever since i got my tetanus shot and am so
happy that no early symptoms of tetanus are detected in me.
HOORAY! Am really really really glad i went to the hospital on that day
(carried by mr cuteface *blush*) instead of going home and get the wound
dressed myself without getting vaccinated.

I really cannot imagine the consequence if i was not vaccinated in time!

I'm all healed and ready for my next date with Mr Cuteface!

Omg Omg Omg guys..
You won't believe what happened to me today!
I totally don't believe I'd be THAT unlucky!

I was on this most awesome date with the most awesome boy (PS: he's really cute)
After dinner, we decided to take a stroll down the beach
awww. It was soooooo romantic...

AND THEN. GUESS WHAT HAPPENED!

Of all things, i had to step on this stupid fish hook
and worst of all, it was R-U-S-T-Y! (eewwww!)
It hurt like crazy!

The blood kept flowing profusely just like a fountain!
Can you imagine the PAIN?!


My date immediately piggy-backed me to the nearest clinic
sigh... wasn't it a blessing in disguise *blush*

When we reached, this really scary nurse dressed and
cleaned my wounds throughly.
I was told i had to get a tetanus shot.
Like omg, i HATE HATE HATE needles!

I asked her if it is possible for me to not get an tetanus shot but
she told me firmly that tetanus vaccine is very important to prevent
tetanus which can lead to scary symptoms like severe muscle spasm,
seizures and even nervous system disorders!!

She then whipped out this humongous needle and jabbed me in the thigh.
If you think stepping on the hook hurt, this nearly killed me!!!!!!!!

The nurse was like 'girl you are so lucky... "apparently, had i not been there in time, i would have suffered from a tetanus infection. After i got home from the clinic, i logged on google images and found some photos of tetanus patient. Looking at these photos, i understood why the nurse said that i am so lucky. Indeed, I'm very VERY lucky...

OMG OMG OMG!! These photos are really sad,
i really wouldn't want to suffer like them. Thank god im vaccinated now!!!

I told my friend, who was taking this complicated subject called
Principles of Biochemistry and Physiological Nutrition.
She says it's really hard but i'm sure she'll do well! (:
Anyway, to my surprise, she did an entire project on tetanus infections
and i got some materials from her.

I learnt SOOOO MUCH from it!
i'm sure my brain would increase in size. LOL.
